The idea comes from a rectangle split into two triangles shifted and duplicated so as not to build two long and narrow duplex and leaving enough space for the garden. The two constructions have similar appearance but different arrangement inside. The design shape has been developed in order to give both duplex a proper sun exposition. As you can see the different height of the duplex allows the sun to hit both spaces. The north side is almost empty of windows while the south has wide windows able to enlight the openspace confining the use of artificial light. Both garages are placed in the front. The entrance is marked out by an internal courtyard where a door leads to the first duplex and the stairs to the second. The structure over the courtyard will be enlighted during the night creating a nice light effect due to his shape and material. Both duplex have barbecue and small kitchen in the garden.
