Sedona Main House retreat is a 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 baths residence. This 3,7 acre architectural project blurs the line between architecture, interior and landscape design.
Careful consideration has been made to the site and project requirements to ensure the family retreat contributes to the natural characteristics of the area from all exterior and interior vantage points. Sight lines from adjoining properties and panoramic views were an influencing component to the master planning providing a slice of the breathtaking views at every turn. Overall design goal of the project is to offer a luxurious ambiance to this “home away from home”.
The southern elevation consists of solid rammed earth walls without penetrations, designed as thermal banks capturing the afternoon sun. The northern elevation is glazed to bring dominant views inside and allowing northern sunlight to filter into the all living areas.
Each individual module contains a separate living zone; main bedroom & bathroom, living, family & dining, study & guest area. All modules are interconnected in such a way to allow easy access to each area and yet allow for the appropriate amount of privacy where needed.
