Dear ArcBazar Architect,
We are a family with two young children we want to give a new life to our two floor apartment located in an old house which was built in 1850.
This house is the birthplace of Jean Cocteau, the French poet, novelist, dramatist, designer, playwright, artist and filmmaker.
What you should consider :
-The fireplace on the 1st floor can be removed
-The stairs was built about 30 year ago. It would be better (less expensive) to keep it. However, this stairs is not safe for the kids.
-In a way, it should be nice with this project to give a tribute to Cocteau
What we like :
-Minimalist style, especially for the ground floor : "less is more" ;-)
You will find below a list of of what we would like to achieve.
GROUND FLOOR :
-Space for the washing machine and the drying machine
We would love to have an open kitchen with the living room
FIRST FLOOR :
-1 Parent bedroom including shower (size bed : 1.4m*1.90m)
-2 child bedroom (we should be able to put an adult bed (1.4m*1.90m) in each room)
-1 bathroom with a bath
-Floor plans of the ground floor and the first floor with the new distribution, in my point of view, one of the challenge of the project is to find a nice distribution for the first floor.
-3 D views to show the integration of the stairs with the ground floor And first floor. Either the curent stairs or a new one.
-Bonus : what could be done with the garden, we want to remove the trees which are too big.
