Minimalism, modernism and historical adabtability was the 3 main factors we combine to create our design proposal.
We decided to use very light and local materials like stone slates "adapting the historical mode and abit cheep material to use" and aluminium cladding or paint to get a minimalist design and get our design executed with minimum cost.
Due to the need to have a taller and bigger building which can attracts franchises there in the project context, we split the building mass into two floors, with a cap of the shaded roof "as an extra option":
1- Ground floor for entrance and a welcoming area to retail shop and its services zone,
2- First floor with a double height " referred to it by the cross sign in plans" and we can use one single stair in a light structure to connect those floors easily.
We tried also to show our design in a realistic rendering modes to help our client imagine the final real look of the building within the context.
