Basement bathroom renovation. There is no natural light. The current bathroom is functional with one piece shower/tub, toliet, and single sink. The renovation will consist of removing sliding closets to expand the space. I want this bathroom space to relect clean lines, warmth of wood, use of glass for shower enclosure, modern tub, wall insets, modern chrome fixtures, wood shelves below the mirrors, wood slab cabinet front, double sink vanity, storage space, lots of lighting, tile, glass or mix flooring to define space in either a chevron or linear layout. Due to a low ceiling in the bathroom space, the whole space should reflect an air of openess and light.
Within the space, there is a structural brick wall that extends approximately 28 inches in the middle of the room. This can not be removed. The ceiling height is appoximately 7 feet 1 inch. No hanging lights, carpet flooring, or traditonal design. Maximize the space to include a toliet, tub, glass enclosed shower with an adjustable shower head, sliding shower door, double sink vanity and storage to include shelving. Use of wood, glass, and natural tile.
Maximizing every space to include plenty of storage. Use of materials. Final design.
