Good Day All,
We’ve got an interesting project we’d like all of you to help us with.
We are moving into a new house (new to us) and we’ve got more kids than bedrooms!
But that shouldn’t be a problem, because there is a huge Media Room that we’d like to turn into a Bedroom for our two boys.
We want to carve up this Media Room space into a Bedroom / Closet / Bathroom combination.
Things you need to know:
+ The current Media Room doesn’t have any windows, despite having three exterior walls. (Well, I guess they wanted it dark for the movies.) So we’ll need some windows for light and egress.
+ The boys have a Bunk Bed that measures 78 inches long by 58 inches deep by 60 inches high
+ They have two dressers. The first is 32 inches long by 18 inches deep by 48 inches high, and the second is 60 inches long by 19 inches deep by 36 inches tall.
+ We’d like a long countertop desktop area for the two boys to build their Legos
+ Nothing spectacular or overly large…just a Full Bath
+ A normal sized tub / shower
+ A Toilet
+ A single sink, but with a good amount of counter space / drawer space
+ A nice sized bedroom closet that you’d find in a large house
+ Almost a “Walk In” closet, but not the size you’d find in a Master Bedroom
+ We like pocket doors.
+ We need the design to include appropriate electrical outlet placements (especially in the bath).
I will attach pictures of the interior and exterior photos, along with the room measurements.
Please let us know if you have any more questions…I’m sure I forgot a bunch!
